MARCY'S FLIGHT NUN TRAVEL BLOG- REFLECTING ON MY CAREER

There's something wonderful about the hour before dawn! It's almost Magical

On this "pre-dawn" I stumbled out of bed, poured my first cup of coffee, and headed outside.  I had another "Flying" dream.  I couldn't help but wonder if other flight crews did the same. Do we all spend so much time in the sky that the "Sky" feels like home and the Earth a place to visit?

I asked a pilot this once.  He said that many aviators were more at home in the air, more themselves. And once they landed they felt like ducks out of water.  I have heard the same of sailers, men who were at home on the sea- more so then on dry land.

Such were my thoughts this morning.  For me, my attachment is both to the Sky, the Earth,  and Water. Perhaps that just makes me a lover of Mother Nature.

As I settled into my chair and  sipped my coffee I listened.  The tree frogs had quieted their song. The birds were not yet awake.  The morning traffic noise had yet to start. Peaceful quiet surrounded me.

Enveloped in the pre-dawn hush is almost a spiritual experience for me. My heart filled with gratitude. I was witnessing  the birth of a new day and I felt a sense of awe!

I have much to be grateful for! On this day I reflect on my Flying Career.  To do what one loves, is that not a Blessing? And all the things that came with the career!

And so I count my blessing this morning, grateful for a life filled with memories of people, places and experiences that make up the tapestry of my life's story.

As the sky turned a breathtaking explosion of color and the birds started their morning song I start a new day- and with gratitude that I can share these life's experiences with you, Dear Readers!

Thank you for coming along on my morning's musings!  My gratitude extends to each and every one of you!

Until next time,  Remember!  Life Is Indeed An Adventure!

The Tapestry Of Experiences That Makes Up Our Life Makes Us Rich Indeed!
