The day began with errands to run. Off to the bank, a few friends visited, and back to the park to do laundry. Jan had heard that a "Great Horned Owl" had a nest in one of the pines at the back of the park. We went for a look! Wow! I had no idea they were so large! This bird was huge!
But duty called. Off we went to the laundry, located on the other side of the building from the ......
POOL!! Now, the sun was shinning, the temperature was in the high 70's! It certainly did look inviting! Off we went to the other side of the building to the....
LAUNDRY ROOM! Jan had lots of laundry to do! She had teenagers as guests for a few days, and had mounds of towels from the beach! In went the items into the washers! Hm. What to do while the cloths are washing?! How about the.....
POOL!? Yep. I couldn't resist! Ah! It felt SO good to swim and play in that water one more time!
But let's not forget the laundry! Time for the wash to go to the....
DRYER! Now, we know that those big beach towels are going to take a lot of time to dry! So.........
HAPPILY I returned to the pool for another few lengths and splashing around!
The residents of the park were decorating this cross. Easter service is held in a large meeting room here. I thought it was very pretty!
So that's how I spent my last day here in Fort Myers Beach!
I'll be heading back to Michigan in time for Easter!
