Marcy's Travel Blog- A Lawson Thanksgiving! Thanks For The Memories!

Stuffed Turkey! It tasted as good as it looked!

Daughter-in-law  Mia's parents invited me to join the family for Thanksgiving! I am now in happy agony, being too full from that wonderful meal. And my heart is full with wonderful memories of this day! I'd like to share their holiday tradition with you! May I give a special acknowledgement to Willy, Mia's mother! What a wonderful meal! Thank you for all your hard work and your big, open heart!
Pre-meal munchies and wine! Daughter-in-law Mia's handiwork!

Grandson Evan's Lego Power station with power lines everywhere!

Evan's "power lines", made with yarn!

Bill Lawson- the "Carving" ceremony!

Meanwhile, Dachshund Otto's  praying Bill drops something!

My Granddaughter Payton, showing off  her "Princess" crown!

Time to eat! First everyone shared a gratitude, even the children!

On the right is Mia's brother Matt and family. Her father Bill is at the head of the table. My daughter-in-law Mia with my grandchildren Payton and Evan are on the left- and Mia's mother, the lovely hostess, Willy Lawson on the far right. (I'm taking the picture) The meal consisted of turkey, home-made cranberry relish, wonderful mashed potatoes (Willy's secret recipe), sweet potato dish, wonderful gravy, stuffing, and green bean cassarole! Yum!

Two pies- Pecan and Pumpkin! Oh, my!

Mia's brother Matt, sharing pie with his daughter!

Otto did his best to help clean the dishes! (Licking the pan- what a treat!)

I  borrowed Payton's Princess crown! (Looks better on her!)  A wonderful day!

WOW! Looks great! I and my 4 boys ate at a bowling alley in Douglas, Michigan for Thanksgiveing. We had a great time, but no Turkey!

Your pictures are great too. I love the "power lines" all over the house.
